Student Entertainment Center

Kurtuluş is a street in Şişli where is center of İstanbul. Kurtuluş have protected neighborhood concept that kids playing on street, and there are tradesmen instead of shopping mall. Besides, the students who attend Istanbul Technical University and Mimar Sinan University, rent a house there because of immediate environment. Kurtuluş where the project area is in, has urban planning as grid order. The houses have inner private courtyard.

The student center was designed with a curve edge in defiance of ordinary neighbor buildings. The location of the project area on a city block, the student center can ensure passing through to connect two streets. The emptiness of connection divide building into two. Nevertheless, the buildings are touch each other as a bridge inside.
